Limited Too Is Growing Up! The Iconic '90s Brand Is Debuting New Adult Sizes

The beloved teen label is launching its adult line with a holiday capsule collection this month

You asked, the Limited Too is about to deliver!

Months after the iconic mall brand returned with a line of tween clothes available exclusively at Kohl’s, Limited Too has announced the launch of a new line of adult looks, beginning with a holiday capsule collection.

Since its relaunch this summer, fans who grew up shopping at Limited Too stores in the ’90s and early 2000s have been clambering for adult sizes.

“We have an awesome audience,” Petra Kennedy, the brand’s design manager, told Today.com in July. “And even though our audience has grown up, the fact that they’re asking for adult-sized clothing, or accessories that they could wear, it just makes us even more excited and like gets our brains moving in another way. We want to do everything that we can for all the customers. We want to do it all.”

On Thursday, Oct. 3, Limited Too responded to that overwhelming demand.

“We’ve seen the conversation around millennial sizes not being available at the relaunch of Limited Too,” an open letter posted to the brand’s official Instagram read. “Please know we’ve been listening closely!”

“Limited Too has always been about celebrating tweens, and we want to keep that special magic alive for the next generation,” the letter continued. “Since our inception, we have wanted to spark joy into the lives of young girls through our fashion. This is why the initial idea of the re-launch was to create the most fun and fabulous products for tweens.”

“Now, we’re excited to tell you that Limited Too will launch for adults this Spring,” the letter announced, describing the new adult line as “a tribute to our cherished OGs that have supported us all along.”

Along with the open letter, the brand launched a new Instagram account, LTD 2.0, for the adult line.

While millennial fans will have to wait until spring 2025 for the full adult line, Limited Too also announced a holiday capsule collection, available Oct. 15.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our holiday capsule collection, now available in a wider range of sizes,” an Oct. 3 post on the LTD 2.0 Instagram account read. “This limited-edition collection, designed especially for our long-time fans, features some of our designers’ favorite pieces from the iconic Limited Too holiday line.”

The brand previewed items from the capsule collection, including a babydoll tee, jewel toned loungewear and a quilted black bomber jacket with “Limited Too Est. 1987” on the back, a reference to its original launch in 1987 as a teen off-shoot of women’s clothing store The Limited.
