If you’ve found yourself reading this in the fashion section of Cosmopolitan, you no doubt know we’re in the midst of fashion month. With New York and London’s fashion weeks already gone, it’s now time for Milan to play host to designers showcasing their spring/summer 2025 collections.

As such, it seems only fitting that Vogue has traced the evolution of the runway by way of a gorgeous photoshoot featuring some of the biggest names in the modeling world—hello, Amelia Gray, Iris Law, and Lila Moss—recreating imagined runway scenes from the 1950s to the 2000s.

Full confession: We didn’t make it past the first image. And we dare you to try after seeing how s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g Lila looks dressed as an actual debutante.

Some context: This first image depicts Dior’s famed collection presentations, which unfolded in the fashion house’s headquarters. Socialites of the time would gather in a room and mingle with models dressed in the designs. These were intimate previews, and guests were limited to extremely rich clients, who were granted an up-close look at the newest fashions.

In the snap, Kate Moss’s daughter can be seen wearing an Elie Saab bridal ball gown. The jaw-dropping wedding dress features a strapless bodice with a gathered, sweetheart neckline embellished with crystal and pearls. A voluminous sweeping ball gown skirt has further bejeweled embellishment as well as additional feather decoration.

White opera gloves prove to be the perfect accessory, in addition to a double-strand pearl choker necklace. Diamond drop earrings are on full display thanks to Lila’s chic updo, which totally channels Marie Antoinette.

Yep, I would 100 percent get married in this dress. Ya know, if it didn’t cost the equivalent of a year’s rent.
