Fans were slightly confused earlier this summer after rumors swirled of a Hot Boys reunion taking place at Essence Fest in June. But Wayne opted not to grace the stage alongside his fellow members, instead performing a 20-minute set after Birdman, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and B.G. took the stage.

Juvenile had recently claimed that a Hot Boys reunion album was in the works, while Birdman said that he was hoping for the crew to come back together. But Wayne said he knew nothing of a Hot Boys album, stating that he hadn’t recorded anything for the project.

Now, Hot Boys is making its official return, almost three decades after its debut. “Lil Wayne embodies the spirit of New Orleans, and Lil’ WeezyAna Fest is a stellar showcase of the city’s dynamic and flourishing music scene,” says Brandon Pankey, vp of business development and operations Live Nation Urban. “Live Nation Urban celebrates this amazing event and is proud to continue to partner and cultivate the growth of this festival for years to come.”

Tickets will be available via presale today at 10 a.m. PT, while general onsale starts on Sept. 6 at 8 a.m. PT.
