Wearing sentimental items like jewellery or crystals to keep the memory of loved ones close or to feel comforted in stressful moments has been a popular practice for years.

Even royalty, like the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, has a namesake necklace featuring three small gold-plated circles etched with each of her children's initials (G for Prince George, C for Princess Charlotte and L for Prince Louis). The Princess has also previously been spotted wearing a gold necklace with a round pendant featuring the initials of her three children alongside a trio of diamond stars.

While I may not be royalty, I, too, embrace a personalised tribute for both my children through their birthstones that are worn in pendant form each day around my neck - an often comforting and reassuring presence that I take with me everywhere.

For some people, wearing certain jewellery items can even help them to feel less anxious with clinical psychologist and author, Dr Rebecca Ray telling Yahoo Lifestyle that, “Jewellery can have a particularly anxiety-calming effect because it can be worn all the time, thus providing a constant reminder to ground yourself."

“I’ve seen this work for people grieving (for both lost loved ones and pets) who wear a reminder in the form of a locket of ashes or a charm, and for people who are anxious and choose a particularly calming gemstone to wear," Dr Ray says.

Given how powerful jewellery can be, it's no wonder that it is often featured as an element in manifestation - a practice utilised and made popular by some of the world’s most successful people like Oprah, Lady Gaga, Adele and Tim Holland.

However, manifestation — the process of bringing desires or intentions into reality through focused thought, visualisation, and belief - is not just for the rich and famous, it’s also a go-to for millions of everyday folks, including Danielle, or Darnoo Dale Fraser, and her husband, Thor, who have used manifestation to help them achieve their goals.

The West Australian couple started their jewellery business Botanical H2o online six years ago, with Darnoo’s inherent and passionate belief in manifestation not only key to the jewellery that she designs and crafts but to the business’s success.

As a child Darnoo knew designing jewellery would be her career one day, and this manifested within months of opening her first physical store in Mandurah.

Utilising TikTok videos to promote the boutique, Botanical H2o’s jewellery soon became a viral sensation and catapulted the business into an international market.

"People started coming in and saying 'we saw you on TikTok' – that was when I was like... Oh my god," Darnoo told the Mandurah Mail.

Botanical H2o now has over 159,000 followers on TikTok and 64,000 on Instagram, establishing itself as a leading brand in WA, with jewellery designed to wear with intention, they combine beauty with purpose in every piece.

"I've always been into crystals, my whole life - and I am quite creative. My mum is a very spiritual person as well, so I grew up around crystals,” Darnoo said.

While Botanical H2o’s crystals are undoubtedly beautiful, what’s also great is that they only use the highest-grade minerals, with all of their crystals sourced from ethical locations around the world, hand-selected by Darnoo herself, either in person or via video call.

“All of our crystals go through multiple cleansing rituals before leaving us so that they are ready to create magic for our customers,” she said.

One of the crystal best sellers includes the Hand Chain, an elegant piece that connects a ring to a bracelet featuring a crystal droplet of your choice – from amethysts to rose quartz – so you can customise your manifestations.

While crystals are central to Darnoo’s jewellery design, other symbolic pieces without crystals also feature heavily including the Azura Pendant – an evil eye charm that represents good karma.

The brand also provides permanent jewellery which has soared in popularity in recent years.

Botanical H2o’s high-end jewellery, which is handcrafted on-site in Darnoo’s studio, has catered to a wide range of jewellery lovers through its various collections including a plus-sized range (up to size 13) — an option appreciated by a variety of customers from pregnant and postpartum women and those with chronic illness.

"I went to Prouds, Goldmark looking for a wedding ring no size in store for me to try on, came to you got myself my wedding ring 🥰," another remarked.

“Biggest flex 9 months postpartum and 7 months pregnant I can't fit any jewellery," another posted.

My only issue? Where was this ten years ago when my pregnant body blew up like a balloon? But all good, with $10 off storewide using the code: nobadvibes, I forgive them!
