When best friends Robyn McLean and Mary Bond began to share details with each other about their heavy periods and their frustration with single-use menstrual products, they decided enough was enough.

The nurse and marketing executive took matters into their own hands. Determined to make "the world's best menstrual cup", they launched Hello Period - a company dedicated to making period care sustainable and easy.

The design took off immediately, with customers clamouring to get their hands on the item. Now the dynamic duo has launched Hello Undies; machine-washable and tumble-dryable undies to wear during your period. They have a superior, patented absorbent technology that holds up to five single-use tampons or pads and can be worn for hours.

Unlike many other brands of period undies, they don't have a layer of polyurethane plastic, so they can be safely used in a tumble dryer and don't make a crinkly sound when you walk.

Customers can't get enough of them. "The quality is exceptional," says one happy customer. "Highly recommend," says another.

Designed in fun colours and styles, they're period undies as you've never seen them before. Hello Undies come in two styles, a mid-waisted and a high-waisted option. Both are available in sizes XS to 3XL.

High-Waisted Undies

Made from antibacterial and breathable fabric, these also have moisture-wicking technology to keep you dry for up to five hours. They're odour resistant too. They have mesh panelling on the side with black velvet florals. They also come in plain black and a blush colour.

Mid Waisted Undies

These bikini-style undies are comfortable, thin and super absorbent. They're also perfect for light bladder leakage and postpartum wear. Made from the same antibacterial and breathable fabric as the high-waisted undies, they'll definitely brighten up your period.
