Aldi shoppers divided over $6 sweet snack: 'Wouldn't buy again'
Aussies aren't convinced the $5.99 pack of flavoured mini churros is hitting the spot.
Shoppers are stocking up on Aldi's mini churros in time for Christmas, while debating which flavour is actually best.
One person took to a popular Aldi Facebook group to ask their fellow shoppers if Aldi's $5.99 box of mini churros are any good, with the tasty fun-sized snacks coming in a couple of different flavours, with apple and cinnamon or cocoa and hazelnut to choose from.
While some were quick to comment the desserts were "so good", it became clear that the apple flavoured ones were the hot favourite (no pun intended) amongst most of the punters.
Aldi fans debate best mini churro flavour
"Not a big fan of the chocolate ones, quite bland and you need to make your own cinnamon sugar to make it like proper churros," one person said, while another agreed saying, "Apple pie one was so yummy just not enough in the box!"
"The choc filled ones need some sugar on them, they were pretty bland and not much chocolate in them," another complained. "I wouldn't buy again."
Others came in with best serving suggestions, with some saying they ate theirs with ice cream and others saying they made their own sugar cinnamon dips or added Nutella for extra flavour.

"Yes! I heated them in air fryer then made up some cinnamon sugar to roll them in," one person said. "I liked them, my husband didn't," someone else added. "I recommend some cinnamon and sugar at the end plus can dip them in more Nutella."
But some people aren't fans...
Earlier this year another Aldi shopper also reviewed the hit product on TikTok, saying they were adding a little more cinnamon and sugar to their air-fryer churros after describing them looking like a "hairless chicken".
Another TikTok user earlier this year wasn't convinced by the churros, saying they tasted "salty" and that the texture was weird, with one person in the comments recommending to cook them for less time as they taste slightly better that way.
