Liam Hemsworth almost unrecognisable in new role: 'Can't wait!'

The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth looks almost unrecognisable in his latest role.

The star transformed for his role in Russell Crowe’s second directorial film called Poker Face.

The Stan Original film revolves around a game of high-stakes poker hosted by tech billionaire Jake, played by Russell Crowe, in his Miami mansion.

From the trailer, things escalate when a dangerous group of home invaders infiltrate Jake’s mansion, leading to violence, danger and terror.

Liam plays one of Jake’s childhood friends and the star traded his usual short locks for a longer, slicked-back low ponytail.

Instead of his regular brown hair, there seem to be brushes of grey through his straight locks.

The Isn’t It Romantic star looks much older than his 32 years, and his character appears to be under immense stress during the poker game.
