Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez has a subtle, yet direct response to anyone criticizing the racy 'fit she put together for Donald Trump's inauguration.
ICYMI, the former reporter drew negative comments after she stepped out in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C., wearing a white blazer buttoned at the waist with a lacy white bustier peeking out from underneath.
"[She] is incredibly inappropriately dressed for a state occasion,” one X user wrote at the time, suggesting that “Someone should have told her that having her white lace bra out on display is not acceptable.”
Sanchez showed off the outfit on Instagram several weeks prior, posting a mirror selfie of her grinning widely on Dec. 5, 2024. More than a month later, critics and fans alike took to the comments to reference its appearance at the inaugural ceremonies on Monday, Jan. 20, doubling down on the time and place it would be appropriate.
"Not acceptable for an Inauguration, show some class and dress appropriately, this was not a night club event," one comment read, while another called the ensemble "classless."
On another post from the evening, where she'd changed into a glittering black ball gown, one follower questioned, "Gorgeous dress! Why do you choose to wear bra for [inauguration]!?🤔."
But plenty of people spoke out to counter "the haters," with Sanchez directly clapping back at said "haters" by liking a number of supportive comments.
"Girl you looked so amazing yesterdayyy!!! Don’t listen to the haters [they're] jealous! [You're] a beautiful human ❤️," one fan encouraged, while another said she was "Looking sexy smart and serious with a nod to mischief all wrapped into one amazing bundle! 💝."
"THAT GIRL 🔥 don’t let the haters bring you down!" another comment she liked said. "Only opinion that matters is your own and Jeff’s 💯."
