Here's What People Are Saying After Landon Barker Attended A Diddy-Themed Party With Baby Oil
Another Barker kid has sparked controversy.
Earlier this week, Alabama Barker came under fire for her comments on voting.
"Why am I doing that if I genuinely really don’t care?” she asked on a recent livestream. "I’m just honest. I don’t care to vote if I don’t know exactly what’s going on. I don’t think that’s wrong. And I completely stand on that, and I stand by it."
Alabama, 18, later issued an apology after her "privileged" and "ignorant" remarks were called out online.
Now, her brother Landon Barker is facing criticism after he was seen at a Diddy-themed party this week.
According to People, Landon attended the party on Wednesday after celebrating his own birthday earlier that day.
Footage shared by TMZ shows bottle girls holding up baby oil, referring to prosecutors' claims that the March raids on Diddy's home produced over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.
A DJ could also be heard saying, "We’re getting really freaky tonight. We’re getting Diddy freaky tonight." This statement appears to be in reference to the alleged "freakoffs" that are at the center of a federal case against the former Bad Boy mogul.
Knowing this, people thought the party theme was "gross" and "insensitive."
So far, Landon hasn't publicly addressed the matter, but a source told People he had no knowledge of the event and never participated in it.
"The content that has surfaced from Wednesday night at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge is from another individual's birthday," the source claimed.
"Earlier, Landon had a small dinner at Nobu that was hosted by his father and stepmother, who then returned home," the insider continued, referring to Travis and Kourtney Kardashian Barker. "Landon and his friends then attended Harriet's."
The source also said, "He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else. He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage."
We'll see if Landon himself has anything to say about this. We reached out to his reps for comment, but didn't hear back by the time of publication.
