Lady Gaga Is Nearly Unrecognizable After Serious Style Switch Up for Upcoming Project
Lady Gaga is kicking the new year off on a high note—and she unveiled a serious style switch up for an upcoming project.
The 38-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Monday, Jan. 7, to share a video celebrating a major milestone: Her song with Bruno Mars, "Die With a Smile," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
The "Born This Way" singer debuted a new look in the short clip, with her long hair now bleached platinum blond to match her brows.

"I'm so incredibly grateful that my song 'Die with a Smile' with Bruno Mars, my friend, is No. 1 on the Hot 100," she said to the camera. "I can't believe that I've had two No. 1s in three different decades that I've been releasing my music in this professional way."
"I am so honored to be an artist and to have had your ears for this long. Thank you for listening and dancing and making your art along with mine. I'm so grateful," she continued, also noting that "Die With a Smile" will be included on her upcoming seventh studio album.

"Thank you for making me #1 again 🙏💘 couldn’t do it without your love I’m so grateful," Gaga captioned her post.

Known as LG7, Gaga's next album is slated for release in February 2025. She dropped the lead single, "Disease," on Oct. 25.
In a November interview with Vogue, she described the album as "chaotic from a genre perspective."
"It is genre-bending, and I think in that way is a deeply personal look into my mind as a producer and the way I think about music,” she said.
