The 13-time Grammy Award winner’s appearance drew comparisons among fans on X, formerly Twitter, to a handful of other celebrities, including Amy Winehouse, Dakota Johnson, Chappell Roan and Grimes, among others. Some fans questioned the image that was used for the video interview’s thumbnail, with one asking, “why did they do her so dirty with that thumbnail 😭” as another agreed, writing, “They could’ve picked a more flattering picture as a thumbnail.”

Several fans expressed amazement that the person in the video was actually Lady Gaga. “Lmao, wait is this supposed to be Lady Gaga?” one fan asked as another wrote, “That cannot be her.”

“Who is thissss,” one person tweeted.

The magazine’s interview with Lady Gaga was posted online days after the “Just Dance” singer announced that she will soon be releasing a new album. Mayhem is due out on March 7.
