Who better to help Kristen Bell prepare to host the 2025 SAG Awards than, well, Kristen Bell?

Such is the basic premise behind a new teaser for the upcoming shindig, which celebrates the best performances of the year in TV and film. In the clip, below, Bell is shown sitting in her dressing room, when the ghost of her past self appears in the mirror, and she has the honor of informing her about the future — including that she gets to kiss Adam Brody in their Netflix hit series Nobody Wants This.

To start, Bell is naturally confused about this ghost, saying, "Oh my god, am I dead? I knew I shouldn't have started eating meat." This is much to her (still vegetarian) ghost self's shock, who asks her incredulously, "You eat meat now?!"

Her ghost then explains that, for her, it's 2018 and she's been asked to host the SAG Awards for the first time. This then prompts her to do the math on Bell's current age, angering the present-day star, who gets up to leave. But the ghost needs her help for the 2018 awards and wants her advice on "calling out Timothee Chalamet," who she feels "could really be something." "Solid bet," present-day Bell tells her.

Ghost Bell then wants to know who is nominated at the 2025 SAG Awards, and the two gush over the name dropping (Zoe Saldana, Ted Danson, Martin Short), until current Bell brings up her own nomination. "Don't lie to you," the ghost tells her. "I was just as surprised as I am," Bell jokes back.

A knock at the door means both Bells need to leave, but not before the ghost asks her, "What happens in the next seven years?" Thinking on it a bit, Bell finally settles on, "You get to kiss Adam Brody," to which her past self replies knowingly, "The millennials are gonna love that."

Bell is nominated this year for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This. As alluded to in the teaser, Bell was the first person to host the SAG Awards back in 2018. Up until that point, the show was a hostless one that featured many cameos and appearances by Hollywood's biggest names.

“Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year,” Bell told Netflix when her return was announced. “I’m honored to be asked back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best: celebrating ourselves.”

The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will stream live on Netflix on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
