Yahoo Lifestyle Jason Kelce Reveals a New Family Addition for Brother Travis
Taylor Swift might be famous for being a cat lover, but it seems Travis Kelce is more of a dog person.
During a recent appearance on the podcast Fitz & Whit, Jason Kelce revealed that his brother apparently got a new puppy sometime in the fairly recent past.
While explaining to hosts Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth how much Taylor has influenced Travis—particularly when it comes to his interior design skills—Jason shared a hilarious anecdote of what happened when his brother splurged on a pair of very expensive couches.
“He had these couches and they were like green velvet, over-the-top couches," Jason began.
"I could see that with him," Ryan quipped.
"And I go, and I’m like—I’m not gonna say the dollar amount—but I’m like dude, what are these couches?” Jason continued.
Travis apparently defended his purchase, claiming the couches were made by an "Italian designer."
“He said, ‘It’s an investment.’ I’m like, ‘Travis…’” Jason said. “He said, 'It's art, Jason.' I’m like ‘Travis, this thing does not retain any [value].’”

As it turned out, Jason was right about the couches becoming less valuable.
“I came back maybe 6 months after that, and I come back and one of the couches is like pushed up against the wall,” Jason explained. “I’m like why'd you move the couch?”
"And he goes and he pulls the couch back, he had just got a puppy—the puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it," the former Philadelphia Eagles player laughed.
"Investment gone! Investment's over," joked Andrew.
While Jason didn't specify whether or not Taylor had anything to do with the new puppy, the "Fortnight" singer is the proud owner of three cats: Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button. However, as Swifties know, Taylor also has a close relationship with her mom's dog—even though the Great Dane happens to be named "Kitty."
Jason didn't mention the name of the pup who chewed up his brother's couch, but as of September 2023, Travis had two dogs, according to Us Weekly: a Goldendoodle named Rambo and a Pomeranian-husky mix called Chauncey.
