Kourtney Kardashian slammed over missing wedding detail: 'How sad'
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have tied the knot in a small, legal ceremony on Sunday - but one important detail was missing.
It doesn’t appear that Kourtney’s children were in attendance at the couple’s wedding in Santa Barbara, which infuriated fans. A source told People that the pair “had to get legally married first ahead of their big Italian wedding which is happening very soon.”
This comes after an emotional moment on The Kardashians when Travis proposed to Kourtney at a celebration with most of her family. Unfortunately, her children Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, were nowhere to be seen.
When the Poosh founder FaceTimed her children to pass on the news, her daughter Penelope burst into tears and told Kourtney to “hang up”, while her son Reign didn’t care.

The reality TV star shared a series of black and white photos from the ceremony with Travis, writing, “Till death do us part.” Her sister, Kim Kardashian, was quick to write “Kravis forever” - but Kourtney’s fans weren’t so forgiving.
Fans slammed Kourtney on social media for not inviting her children to the wedding, with one pointing out: “Without the kids, how sad.”
“Nice not to include your kids. Great influence Travis!” a second added.
“For her not to include her kids is sad. It seems since she got with Travis it’s been all about him,” another said.
Kourtney had mentioned on The Kardashians that it was a poor choice not to invite her children to the proposal, it would make sense that she would include them in this ceremony.
“I do wish that my kids were here,” she said on the show. “I think it would have made them feel more included in the decision, kind of, and like part of the surprise. I know that my mum made that decision and it probably wasn’t her best.”
Fans haven’t forgotten about that decision and have been slating Kourtney for continuing to leave her children out.
“Not long ago she would always [say] to her sisters how her kids were always her priority… But now she seems to have forgotten about that. They were not even at their engagement. I can’t stand how much she has changed lately,” one person commented.
“That really bothered me too. Especially since she made a big stink about them not being involved in the proposal,” a fan wrote.
