Kmart's $20 'simple yet clever' solution to major packing problem

I don't know about you, but before I take off on any kind of trip, whether it be within my state or overseas, there's always something on my shopping list that I must buy before I leave. So, to make things easier for you, I've compiled a list of travel essentials before you leave on your next trip.

Kmart Hanging Packing Cube - $20

Kmart's Hanging Packing Cubes have been hugely popular on social media, with plenty of TikTok's showing how convenient this three-shelf design is, allowing you to pack away your pieces and immediately unpack them and hang them in the wardrobe of your room at your destination.

"This is such a simple yet clever packing cube! It is really easy to pack and even easier to unfold and hang in a hotel room!" one reviewer writes on Kmart's website.

Kmart Digital Travel Scales - $9

I'm always stressed about my suitcase being overweight, and digital travel scales are an absolute must. Kmart's is only $9 and could save you hundreds on luggage fees if you go over by a few kilograms!

"Less than half the price at a luggage store," one reviewer writes. "Lightweight and accurate. Used at home for all the family mid-July and brought overseas with us so could weigh all the extra gear we bought. Accurate, lightweight and great price. Allowed us to repackage our purchases so we were not caught out overweight."

Kmart Hand Held Garment Steamer - $39

If you're travelling for work or a special occasion, it always pays to have a garment steamer on-hand in case you need to steam clothes – not every Airbnb has an iron available!

Anker 60W 6-Port USB Wall Charger - currently $39.09, usually $59.95

Being able to save space and replace several wall adapters with just one product with six charging ports is a major win for me! Anker's charger is compatible with iPhones and iPads, Android smartphones and tablets and other USB-charged devices. If you're charging a MacBook, it's recommended to do so while the computer is turned off or asleep.

Beats by Dre Beats Studio Pro - $529
