Kmart's $18 leggings spark rave reviews: 'Comfiest I own!'

Women are losing it over a brand new fitness buy from Kmart, and this time the retailer is killing it in the fashion department.

An $18 pair of legging from the budget store has caused a serious stir online after a curious shopper asked for reviews.

Taking to a Kmart fan group, the sensible shopper asked her fellow fans what they thought of the cheap buy, and whether they would recommend them.

The leggings in questions are the retailer’s Active Womens Ankle Length Yoga Legging that go for $18 and come in khaki green or black.

Women ‘love’ the $18 budget buy

The response was overwhelmingly positive, dozens of women raving about the ‘comfy’ texture and ‘squat proof’ quality.

“Yes I have them, they are favourites,” one woman responded. “I got a second pair.”

“So comfy and feel great on,” another promised.

“Couldn't love these anymore than I do!” on mum wrote, also adding in a photo of her rocking the stunning green look.

Others shared a hit tip that the generous fit should be sized down for most for the best results.

“Omg. I love mine. I got a size 16 could have gone a 14,” one woman reported. “So comfy. I want another pair.”

“I always go a size or 2 down with tights as they sit and hug you better and never roll down, and you never find yourself pulling them up all the time,” was another’s generous advice.

The one negative review seemed to echoe the advice, with one lady writing that hers didn’t stand up to heavy cardio.

“I have them, but they're not really cardio friendly,” she revealed. “They fall down and roll down.”

It’s not the first buy from the budget retailer to make a splash ahead of Spring.

The shop wowed shopper last week with new $49 weighted blanket in a market full of options that go for over $300.

The blanket hit shelves last week, and quickly piqued fans’ curiosity, with the combination of its sleek design and low price.

Retailing at $49, the blanket features a soft, textured exterior with 7kg of weighted filling.
