Expect Amy Schumer to deliver a lot of laughs in her latest comedy.

PEOPLE has the exclusive first trailer for Kinda Pregnant, which Schumer co-wrote, produced and stars in.

The comedian plays Lainy, an English teacher in Brooklyn who, jealous of her best friend Kate’s (Jillian Bell) pregnancy, decides to wear a fake baby bump — then accidentally meets her dream man Josh (Will Forte) and gets caught up in furthering a growing lie.

Schumer, 43, tells PEOPLE the movie is "laugh-out-loud funny and relatable."

Fans should be excited to see costar Forte, 54, as her onscreen love interest too, she adds.

"It's a really special thing to build that kind of trust with someone, to get used to kissing someone other than your partner and have it not be a big deal," says Schumer, who married husband Chris Fischer in 2018.

Forte is the "funniest person alive, and now people will see what a great romantic lead he is too," she adds.

Kinda Pregnant's cast also includes Damon Wayans Jr., Brianne Howey, Alex Moffat, Joel David Moore, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson and Francis Benhamou.

Plus, Schumer teases at least one emotional scene she shared with Ginny and Georgia star Brianne Howey, who plays Megan: "Bri and I filmed a really special intimate scene sitting on the bathroom floor, and that was the most satisfying day of shooting for me as a woman and and artist. But don't get it twisted — you will cry-laugh watching this movie."
