Khloé Kardashian Explains Why She Wanted Daughter True to Have a Sibling So Badly: 'Need Her to Have Someone'

Khloé Kardashian wanted her daughter to have a sibling more than anything.
In a new interview with Bustle, the Good American co-founder, 40, explained why she wanted her daughter True, 6, to have a sibling, noting that for her, the idea manifested when her dad died.
"Not to be morbid, but when my dad passed, my mom — regardless of how incredible and amazing she is — she couldn't understand the pain we felt," Kardashian told the outlet.
"And so for True, I was like, 'I need her to have someone.' It's just inevitable that both of her parents at some point will go. And I just need her to have that support system."

Elsewhere in the interview, Kardashian opened up about how her two kids — daughter True and son Tatum, 2, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, 33 — are "mirroring" some of her ultra-organized mannerisms.
“Sometimes my kids will want to line their toys up a certain way, and then I feel bad because I’m like, ‘Oh gosh, they’re mirroring what I’m doing,' " she said.
Kardashian explained that it wasn't until she had kids that she understood the importance of giving yourself grace.
"I had that challenge a lot more before I had kids. It was really hard for me to see it as clearly as I do now," she said, adding, "I’ve learned it’s okay for me to show a messy room because I don’t want them to feel like everything has to be perfect."
On Halloween this year, Kardashian shared photos on Instagram of her two kids and her niece Dream, 7, as they got ready to head out for the holiday.
In one group photo, Kardashian could be seen wearing a cat costume and posing with the three little ones, who smiled in front of her. True dressed as Evie from the Descendants movie franchise, wearing a two-piece red jacket and skirt, along with a blue wig and crown. Her brother Tatum went as a cat, matching his mom.
Dream opted for a blow-up alien costume, standing with her aunt and cousins in the snap. "Happy Halloween!! The costumes changed for the kids a few times this year," Kardashian wrote in her caption.
"Im simply happy that Halloween is over and I can be in my Christmas feels 🤍🤍 bring on Santa!!! 🎅🏼."
