KFC adds $2.95 menu item and it's what dreams are made of

If you've ever pulled up to KFC with a hankering for a zinger burger, some nuggs and a Pepsi the size of your head and thought, I could really go for something sweet, yet also fried for afters... you're in luck. The beloved dirty bird has dropped some Fried Cookie Dough realness and the best part? It'll only set you back $2.95. Bloody ripper mate!

The fast food chain describes the new menu addition as "an irresistible, melt-in-your-mouth delight designed to perfectly cap off your KFC meal" and promises the dough balls "will set off a sweet sensation in your mouth, with its oozing chocolate chip deliciousness in every bite". High cholesterol never sounded so damn erotic!

These mouthwatering bad boys are in stores across the country from today (August 6) so tell your boss you have an "urgent" appointment, jump in your car and head to your local KFC. Sadly, this delectable menu item is more of a summer fling kind of relationship than a "let's grow old together and die within seconds of each other like that couple in The Notebook" kind of love as they are only sticking around until September 2. So, be fast, and don't get too attached, friends!

Available as 3 pieces for $2.95, 6 pieces for $5.95 or as part of the Complete Treat which includes a Zinger Burger, 3 Wicked Wings, 3 pieces of Fried Cookie Dough, chips, potato and gravy and a drink. Fried Cookie Dough is also available for delivery via the KFC App, so you can satisfy those sweet cravings without ever leaving your couch or missing an episode of whatever you're bingeing on Netflix.
