Kelly Ripa's Daughter Lola Slips Into Her Vintage Dress 30 Years Later
"Like mother, like daughter" has never proved to be more true than recent activity from Kelly Ripa and Lola Consuelos. The 23-year-old wore her mother's red halter gown to the 2024 Disney Legends Awards last month, and the talk show host opened up about the experience on Live with Kelly and Mark.
"That dress that Lola was wearing is 30 years old," Ripa told People. "That was my dress from 30 years ago. So I thought that was pretty cool."

She reflected upon the evening when she was inducted into the newest class of Disney Legends. On the September 3 episode of the show, co-hosted by her husband Mark Consuelos, Ripa showed a picture of the family on the red carpet, reflecting on the special moment with the three.
“I was like [to Mark], ‘See? Price per wear!'" she joked, referencing the assumed expensive cost of the dress and the utility in reusing clothing.
Fans of Ripa know that "price per wear" is one of her catchphrases. Most recently, in an April episode of Live with Mark and Kelly, she shared that she still has a nightgown she purchased from the Gap over 35 years ago, which she still wears today over jeans.
The talk also turned to the honor itself that former soap star Ripa received alongside other luminaries such as Harrison Ford, John Williams, and Miley Cyrus. Consuelos admitted he got "teary-eyed" watching her speech, to which she responded, "I know. I looked away from you when you did. I was like, ‘Okay…’ So I just looked at Angela Bassett the entire time."
"What did you want me to do?" he joked. Her reply? "I just didn’t want to be emotional with you, so I looked at Angela."
