Kelly Ripa's Controversial Opinion on Iconic Girl Scout Cookie Flavor Garners Strong Reaction From Fans

Kelly Ripa is apparently a tough cookie when it comes to Thin Mints.

Despite being revered as the most beloved of the Girl Scout Cookie flavors, Ripa doesn't think Thin Mints are worth all the hype—and her fans couldn't agree less.

Ripa, 54, shared the unpopular opinion during the Wednesday, Jan. 8 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, where she boldly asserted, "I don't like Thin Mints," much to the dismay of the audience—and her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos.

"I don’t like them—there, I said it!" Ripa shouted, only to be met with boos from the audience. Consuelos, 53, wasn't on her side either, as he encouraged the crowd, "Boo her!"

"You, shut up!" Ripa replied, while her husband said, "You got booed!"

A riled-up Ripa then jokingly told the audience, "You know what, you're a bunch of pot heads down there!...This whole section! Wave to your families, pot heads! The pot heads like the Thin Mints. No surprise there. They dip them in peanut butter at home!"

While the audience cackled, the All My Children alum then asked herself, "How did Girl Scout Cookies become so violent?"

Ripa and Consuelos' heated conversation about Girl Scout Cookies comes in the wake of the organization's announcement that two beloved flavors will be discontinued after the 2025 cookie season: Girl Scout S'mores and Toast-Yay!s.

Unfortunately for Ripa, Thin Mints, however, aren't going anywhere!
