Over the last few months, people around the world have experienced immense change to their everyday routines and are more than ever looking for practical ways to workout from home.
And with the lack of equipment one of the biggest struggles, Sweat Trainer Kayla Itsines has created a brand new program - BBG Zero Equipment - to make things simple when you’re stuck at home with no equipment.
“It can be daunting not having access to a gym and having to workout at home without equipment whilst trying to juggle the pressures of living and working,” Kayla says.
“Listening to the needs of women, I created BBG Zero Equipment to help make working out at home as simple as possible by removing the need for equipment and giving women the tools and confidence to workout effectively using their bodyweight.”
The program retains Kayla’s signature 28-minute circuit-based workout style, as well as express workouts that take less than 15 minutes.
And all you need is the space of a mat.
“I tried and tested all 70 new exercises in my lounge room in Adelaide, and designed the program to be done in a small space so you can workout in your apartment, bedroom or kitchen,” Kayla adds.
BBG Zero Equipment is a 16-week training program, with four beginner weeks and caters to all fitness levels and is available in the Sweat app.
If you want a taste of what to expect from a typical Kayla Itsines no equipment workout, the global fitness queen recently shared two-weeks worth of BBG workouts exclusively for Yahoo Lifestyle readers.
