Kate Middleton has shared a sweet moment with a young fan who dressed up as a 'princess' to meet her over a video call.
The 39-year-old future queen was chatting with UK mum Vicky Jones about the charity Little Village over the weekend when her three-year-old daughter, Isla made an appearance.
"Can she say hello to you quickly?" Vicky asked Kate, who replied, "I'd love that!"
A slightly starstruck Isla then came into view sporting a special pink dress and a sparkly headband.
"Hi Isla. You look very nice today. I love your hairband," the Duchess of Cambridge told the youngster.
"I'm a princess today!" responded Isla proudly.
After a quick weather update from Isla - "it's snowing outside," she informed the duchess - the two mothers were able to continue their discussion about Little Village which supplies kids and families in need with clothes, toys and other essentials.
Vicky reached out for practical and emotional support from the charity when Isla was just a baby, telling Kate, "I don't know where I would be without them.
The pair went on to talk about the impact of the pandemic, with mum-of-three Kate offering insight into her own experience of parenting during the UK's various lockdowns.
"This pandemic has been hard. And I know parenting is difficult anyway, and it's just been exacerbated during the pandemic," the duchess said.
Kate has been involved with Little Village for several years and, in August 2020, even stepped in to help pack boxes of donated goods.
