Karl Stefanovic left blushing over Jacqui Lambie's X-rated quip
As a 46-year-old father-of-four, you’d think Karl Stefanovic might be able to keep a straight face when discussing, well... ‘adult matters’ but that’s clearly not the case!
The Today show host turned bright red and burst out in giggles after Aussie politician Jacqui Lambie made an X-rated admission live on air on Thursday morning.
The Tasmanian senator was discussing Labor leader Anthony Albanese’s new ‘bonking ban’, that he’s enforcing to prevent hanky-panky between staffers, when things took a personal turn.
After remarking on how ‘absurd’ it was to require such a rule for grown-up MPs, Jacqui admitted that the ban wouldn’t change much for her.
“I don't have time for bonking and I've made it quite clear in the past, I can't even get to first base Karl, let's be honest,” she quipped.

At this point, Karl immediately went scarlet and dissolved into a fit of laughter.
“Oh, my god. You are a legend. I mean, the last thing I thought was going to come out of your mouth this morning,” he managed to get out.
Karl attempted to move the conversation along but found it impossible to keep the chuckles at bay, prompting Jacqui to innocently ask, “Are you blushing Karl?”
“I'm blushing a little bit,” he sheepishly admitted.
