Kansas City Chiefs Include Nod to Taylor Swift in Teaser Video

The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for another football season with the Swiftie fandom on their team.

As Travis Kelce and the rest of the reigning Super Bowl champs prepare to kickoff another season this fall, the Missouri-based franchise is making sure to keep the Taylor Swift references coming in their pre-season promo.

In a new clip teasing "back to back greatness" for the Chiefs, who took home the trophy at Super Bowl LVIII back in February, the "Fortnight" songstress was already included with a subtle nod to her discography.

The dramatic clip—shared to the Chiefs X account on Sunday, June 9—was posted alongside the caption, "Greatness never goes out of style," a clear reference to Swift's smash hit song, "Style."

In the chorus of the track off Swift's 1989, she sings, "And when we go crashing down, we come back every time 'cause we never go out of style."

Football fans were immediately pumped up for the upcoming NFL season, while some Swifties couldn't help but notice the nod to the 14-time Grammy winner in the post.

"Out of style you say," one Swiftie wrote in response to Sunday's tweet, while someone else added, "Cause we never go out of style???."

But even beyond the excitement of Swift, 34, potentially being in the crowd for more of Travis' games come the fall, some members of Chiefs Kingdom are mostly looking forward to the team's opportunity for a 3-peat Super Bowl win, after coming out on top the past two seasons in a row.

"IM READY FOR THE 3-PEAT!" one hyped-up fan tweeted, while someone else echoed, "Hell yeah! Then time to get ready for the 3 peat."

The Chiefs season opener is set to take place against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5.
