The actress revealed that Skye is the name of 17-month-old Matilda's “perfect pony”
Kaley Cuoco’s daughter has her hands on “them giddy-up reins!”
The newly engaged actress, 38, shared a glimpse of her 17-month-old daughter Matilda riding her new pony during a horseback riding lesson on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Flight Attendant alum also revealed the pony’s name.
On top of an Instagram Stories video of her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, walking beside Matilda on her pony, Cuoco wrote, “Saturday riding lesson with [trainer] @farinaeichhorn and her perfect pony, Skye.”
The Big Bang Theory star also shared photos of her child’s saddle. “We had a special saddle made for her, so it actually props her up. And she just sits in that thing and walks around and it is crazy," Cuoco recently told PEOPLE, adding that “we’re all there” whenever Matilda safely uses it.
Cuoco soundtracked her Instagram Stories video with Morgan Wallen and ERNEST’s “Cowgirls.” The song features fitting lyrics such as “long live cowgirls” and “one hand on them giddy-up reins.”
The mom told PEOPLE in September that Matilda, whom she and Pelphrey, 42, welcomed in March 2023, is “so fearless” as she nears 18 months.
“I know we're in trouble,” Cuoco said jokingly of Matilda and her pony.
Cuoco added that her baby is discovering things she loves: “She eats everything. She loves being outside. She loves her dad. She's kind of like a boy. She loves airplanes and monster trucks, helicopters. Anything in the sky she thinks is the most amazing thing. And she loves horses, so that's great.”

At a recent Rock4EB event on Sept. 21, Cuoco said she was open to welcoming another baby before she and Pelphrey, who announced their engagement in August, get married.
She told PEOPLE the pair “haven't started planning anything yet” for the wedding and that “maybe another kid will have to come first.”
“We're gonna go way out of order. That’s our plan,” Cuoco explained.
