Musgraves' ensemble for the evening featured a classic scoop-neck white tank top alongside the glittering Ralph Lauren Spring 2025 skirt, which was decked out in gold embellishments. Her sparkly skirt was accessorized with a leather cast concho belt designed in partnership with Navajo silversmith Jimmy Begay Jr. and the Shiprock Santa Fe gallery.

The singer also wore her hair in her signature loose waves and rocked bronzed glam.

Although she lost out to Beyoncé in one category, Musgraves did not go home empty-handed. She took the award for best country song, for her track “The Architect” off of Deeper Well.

"Wow. Gosh. I did not expect that," Musgraves began her acceptance speech. "First of all, I have the absolute best team in the world; I have the best fans in the world; and, ultimately, I just want to say: There’s so much darkness in this world right now, and it just feels so good to be able to fight some of that darkness through song. It's such an honor. Thank you."

Just a few months prior, Musgraves rocked a similarly Western-inspired look at the 2024 CMA Awards in November. The singer hit the red carpet in Nashville wearing a highly detailed denim dress with beaded crystal-like fringe and matching blue feather sleeves.

She accessorized her look with her signature, long center-parted hairstyle and nude pumps.

One month prior, the musician also made another big style announcement, revealing that she would be partnering with Reformation for a new 17-piece capsule collection. The collab dropped on Sept. 16, just in time for the start of the U.S. tour of her new album, Deeper Well.

"Think poetry reading in the English countryside, featuring warm plaids, rich silks and suedes, dainty lace details and vintage-inspired denim," a release for the line read.

The collection featured romantic satin dresses, denim, plaid sets, knitwear and outerwear — all with a comfortable, cottage-core vibe perfect for country fans and stylish dressers alike.
