A Journalist Confessed To Ariana Grande How Important She Was To His Social Life, And You Need To See Her Reaction
The Wicked press tour has been a whirlwind of emotions, and Ariana Grande’s recent reaction to one reporter’s heartfelt confession was both hilarious and adorable.
Ariana and her costar Cynthia Erivo shared many heartwarming moments while being interviewed about their roles as Glinda and Elphaba in the upcoming Universal Studios film.
In fact, the stars have been reduced to tears numerous times during the touching press tour — something that has become a bit of a talking point online.
However, a new interview has shown that Ariana’s expressive reactions aren’t limited.
Whilst interviewing Cynthia and Ariana on Tuesday night’s red carpet at the LA premiere, a journalist for AP News asked about the value of art bringing people together and mentioned how important the Arianator fandom was to his personal and social life.
The journalist shared, “95% of my friends met each other, found each other, because of [the Arianator fandom]. I’m in a relationship because of it — through your fandom.” Upon hearing this, Ariana couldn’t hide her surprise. Or maybe she was impressed.
Ariana quickly schooled her reaction and responded in turn, saying that she shared the experience of making important connections because of her art.
Ariana and Cynthia’s adorable bond has been made clear during promotions. In an interview with MTV, they showed off the numerous matching tattoos they got while filming the movie.
They’re too cute! Which fandoms brought special people into your life? LMK in the comments.
