Johnny Ruffo's partner Tahnee Sims' heartbreaking milestone after star's death

It’s been one month since the beloved Aussie star passed away.

Johnny Ruffo’s partner Tahnee Sims has shared a heartbreaking post on social media recognising a significant milestone since the Aussie star’s tragic death. The singer and Home and Away actor sadly passed away on November 10 at the age of 35 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Tahnee posted a photo of herself and Johnny commemorating one month since his passing.

Several followers took to the comments to share their heartbreak, with one person writing: “He will always be with you, watching over you.”

“It was clear you both had a once-in-a-lifetime love… a love that not many people get to experience. My heart breaks for you,” another added.

“My heart breaks for you Tahnee, I hope you have a lot of love and support around you at this time,” a third replied, followed by someone else who said, “He is gone but will never be forgotten in your heart forever. He will be watching over you always beautiful girl”.

Tahnee's heartbreaking tribute to Johnny

Tahnee farewelled Johnny at his memorial service at Balcatta Senior High School in Perth last month with an emotional eulogy she later shared on Instagram.

Tahnee talked about their love story after meeting Johnny at just 19 in a tribute titled 'Love - John Ruffo'.

“As two people who were both fiercely independent, focused on our own careers, and a bit in denial that we were clearly meant for each other – we used to joke that we should've met later in life,” she wrote.

“But on August 7th 2017, four years after we first met, it became very clear why the universe had brought us together so young. There wasn't going to be a later life for John.”

Tahnee then went on to say how the pair prioritised their love after Johnny's first diagnosis, taking bucket list trips, never going a day without laughter, and ending every single goodbye with 'I love you’.

“Until we meet again John, I love you,” she concluded.
