Johnny Ruffo's family shares strict rule for his upcoming memorial service

Johnny Ruffo’s family have shared details about his upcoming memorial service following his tragic passing at age 35 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

A photo of the beloved singer and actor wearing a black tuxedo was shared on social media on Monday evening alongside the text: “In loving memory of John Patrick Ruffo.”

“Memorial service: Balcatta Senior High School. November 25, 2023. 56 Amelia St, Balcatta, WA, 6021. 12:30pm,” the post read.

“Strictly no cameras or filming.”

Johnny’s family announced his death in a statement on Instagram earlier this month, writing: “It is with a heavy heart that today we had to farewell our beloved Johnny.

“Surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family, Johnny went peacefully with the support of some incredible nurses and doctors.

“He was a very talented, charming and sometimes cheeky boy. Johnny was very determined and had a strong will. He battled all the way to the end and fought as hard as he could. Such a beautiful soul with so much more to give.

“We all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives.”

Tahnee's tribute to Johnny

Johnny’s partner Tahnee Sims shared a heartfelt tribute to the Aussie star on Sunday evening showcasing some sweet moments throughout their relationship.

The video features a variety of footage of Johnny and Tahnee over the years laughing, dancing, on holidays and smiling for the camera alongside the Lady Gaga song ‘Always Remember Us This Way’.

“A forever love,” Tahnee captioned the clip.

The post was met with an outpouring of support from fans and friends of Johnny, including his Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger.

“Darling…. I can’t imagine what you are going through,” she wrote. “In our thoughts and prayers. Cannot wait to give you the biggest hug. We all loved Johnny so much but he was your honey and your soul mate and we ache for you.”
