John Travolta Gushes Over 'Breathtaking' Hollywood Actress: 'One Can Only Dream'
John Travolta is expressing his admiration for one specific Hollywood actress—and he's not shying away from sharing how big of a fan he is of her work.
During a recent chat with two of Australia's leading real estate professionals for upcoming podcast, Beyond the Sale, the legendary actor admitted he "loves" Margot Robbie, 34, specifically after watching her in the 2011-released American airline drama series, Pan Am.
"Margot Robbie... oh my god, one can only dream," he told audio show hosts Shane Spiteri and Kirsty Cunningham, per HELLO! "I just love her, and she was in one of my favorite series called Pan Am."
In fact, the 70-year-old even recalled the first time he encountered Robbie in person. "I met her for the first time at the Oscars two years ago and I said, 'I saw your series Pan Am, you know, it was so good, you were so good, I heard you always wanted to be a flight attendant?'"
Remembering her response, Travolta continued, "She said, 'No! I always wanted to be a pilot!' and I said, 'Really?' I said, 'That's really interesting.'"

His adoration for the Barbie star only makes sense, given his fascination with aviation. The Grease icon, himself, is a fully qualified pilot, often flying his own Boeing 707 jet.
During his overseas visit to the Sydney-based podcast, he continued to gush of the Focus actress, "And she wanted to be a pilot," which he admitted, "Made me like her even more—and, she's gorgeous, just breathtaking."
The full audio show episode will "run next month," according to a press release.
Sadly, the widower lost his wife, Kelly Preston, in 2020. The Cat in the Hat actress—with whom Travolta shared his three children: late son Jett, daughter Ella Bleu, 24, and young son Benjamin, 13—passed away at the age of 57 after a battle with breast cancer.
