Joan feels 'less confident' after hometowns in exclusive “Golden Bachelorette ”preview
Watch Joan share her doubts with host Jesse Palmer in an exclusive clip from tonight's hometown dates episode.
Joan Vassos' Golden Bachelorette journey is almost over, but her panic is just beginning.
Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive preview of tonight's hometown dates episode, which features Joan's pre-rose ceremony chat with host Jesse Palmer. After meeting with the families of her final four — Chock, Pascal, Jordan, and Guy — Joan admits that she has no idea what to do.
"I thought all the hometowns went really, really well, but the conversations were not what I expected," she tells Palmer. "I thought I'd be more confident in these relationships by now." Watch the full clip above.

Hmmm... what do we think went wrong, rose lovers? In ABC's preview for tonight's hometown dates episode, we see the final four with their parents, kids, and grandkids. "Are you in love with Joan?" Chock's dad asks him. "It's getting closer," he replies. Some family members express doubt about Joan's "journey," including one woman — maybe Guy's mom? — worrying aloud, "I do have doubts that she feels as strong for him as he does for her."
One thing we won't see during family visits? A special appearance by Kelsey Anderson and her fiancé/former Bachelor, Joey Graziadei. Viewers were shocked last week when Joan showed up to the mansion before the rose ceremony and told Kelsey's dad, Mark, that she didn't see a future for them.

With only four episodes left after tonight, Joan will have to get some clarity — and fast. There is one thing she does know for sure, however: She'd drop all four of her current suitors for Rob Lowe. As Joan recently confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she would, in fact, leave her Golden Bachelorette winner for the ageless star of St. Elmo's Fire: "Could you blame me?"
The Golden Bachelorette airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
