Jessica Simpson has wowed her fans with a sweaty post-workout selfie showing off her incredible physique after dropping 45kg.

The 39-year-old singer took to Instagram to show off her ripped bod writing: “Woke up before all 3 kiddos to get my steps in and spend time with me, myself, and I. Move move move for your own mental health.”

Her followers praised the star for the snap, with plenty calling the image ‘leg goals’.

“Omg please share your leg workout,” one fan asked.

“Oh I’m sorry Hi LEGS!!” another wrote.

Others also wanted to know where her cute workout outfit was from, with the star revealing the black and grey metallic gear is one of her very own designs from the Jessica Simpson collection.

Jessica revealed in 2019 she had lost an incredible 45kg, after giving birth to her daughter Birdie Mae.

At the time her trainer Harley Pasternak said the star was “so motivated and positive”.

“She was saying that her body has not belonged to her for the past decade,” he told People. “Not in a bad way, in a positive way – her body has been designated to create life and now it’s hers again and she’s going to make it fantastic in a really enjoyable way.”

Jessica proudly shared a photo of her slim post-baby body with her Instagram fans in September, revealing that she “tipped the scales” at just over 108kg during her pregnancy.

The former reality star also told fans that she’s now down to 63.5kg and is “so proud to feel like myself again”.

“6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 😜) My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder,” she captioned the snap.

While Jessica didn’t divulge her diet or workout routine, she has been a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers in the past.

The singer and actress has remained active even during lockdown. She has been staying at home during the global health crisis but has been heading out for a short walk each day to keep herself healthy both physically and mentally.

“She is walking outdoors and on her treadmill. It's the way she stays sane, so it's as much for mental health as it is for physical wellness,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.

Jessica has also joined in the lockdown trend of baking sweet treats with her children - Maxwell, eight, Ace, six, and Birdie, 14 months, whom she has with her husband Eric Johnson - but is only indulging in her culinary masterpieces in moderation.

“There has definitely been a lot of baking going on with the kids and she doesn't totally deny herself,” they added.
