Jason Sudeikis confirmed Ted Lasso season 4 details on New Heights
It's officially official: Ted Lasso's highly anticipated fourth season is happening. The Apple TV+ series -- which was based on an NBC Sports Network commercial from 2013 -- debuted in 2020 and is one of the major successes for the streaming platforms. Jason Sudeikis, who plays the titular lead coach that transitioned from American football to soccer football, joined Jason and Travis Kelce this week on their New Heights podcast.
Naturally, the brothers were curious as to the state of the rumored-if-not-loosely-confirmed fourth season of the comedy series, and Sudeikis delivered with information.
"That's what we're writing. We're writing season four right now," Sudeikis told the Kelces after they hesitantly probed for new information. But that wasn't the only juicy tidbit revealed. "Ted is coaching a women's team. So, there." Travis attempted one more question -- whether Coach Lasso was back in the United States or still in Richmond, England -- but the longtime Chiefs fan shut it down: "That's too many questions."
