Jason Momoa and Girlfriend Adria Arjona Exchange Heart Emojis, Call Each Other 'Mi Amor' on Instagram

Momoa and Arjona went public with their relationship in May; a source told PEOPLE in August that they "love the outdoors and enjoy motorcycle rides"

Jason Momoa is still opening his heart to girlfriend Adria Arjona on social media.

Momoa, 45, expressed his affection for Arjona, 32, when he left a comment consisting of simply six heart emojis "❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" on his girlfriend's Tuesday, Nov. 12 Instagram post. The Hit Man and Blink Twice star shared four black-and-white photos of herself posing in an ankle-length dress against a lush patio backdrop on the social media platform. Similarly, Arjona also wrote three heart emojis in the comments of Momoa's Nov. 12 Instagram post.

This is not the first time Momoa has made sure to highlight his affection for Arjona in the comments of her Instagram posts; he left a series of heart emojis in response to Arjona's Oct. 3 Instagram post, which showed a number of pictures from her trip to Italy.

Even more recently, the Aquaman star shared congratulations for Arjona on social media when Arjona shared the trailer for an upcoming movie she starred in and produced titled Los Frikis on Oct. 17. "Congratulations mi amor. ❤️❤️❤️I’m so proud of you," Momoa wrote in a comment on that post, calling the upcoming film "One of my favorite movies of all time."

"I love this movie. I’m so excited for the world to see it All my aloha FB❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," he added in that comment, to which Arjona responded by writing back, "thank you mi amor ❤️❤️❤️"

Arjona and Momoa went public with their relationship in the spring, when Momoa shared photos of Arjona to Instagram on May 20 while posting about a trip to Japan and referred to her as "mi amor" in a caption. The pair appear to have met when they costarred in the 2021 Netflix film Sweet Girl.

On May 11, Momoa told fans he was "very much in a relationship" during a Comic Con festival appearance in England. "You'll find out very soon," he told a fan who asked about his relationship status, per video of the event shared on X (formerly Twitter) at the time.

After Momoa made his relationship with Arjona public, a source told PEOPLE that the couple's connection was "genuine" and emphasized that Momoa "cares about her."

"She's good to him — and a lovely and genuine person and real like he is," the source said at that time. "She has a good sense of humor and is easy to be with. They relate to each other."

When Momoa turned 45 on Aug. 1, a source told PEOPLE that the actor "spends a lot of time with" Arjona. "She makes him happy. She's very adventurous and down-to-earth as well," the source said at that time. "They love the outdoors and enjoy motorcycle rides."

Prior to dating Arjona, Momoa was married to Lisa Bonet, whom he split from in January 2022 and filed for divorce from by January 2024. They share two children: daughter Lola Iolani, 17, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15.
