Jason Kelce Gushes Over His Wife Kylie — and Reveals the Advice He Gave Her About Starting a Podcast (Exclusive)
The ESPN late-night host boasts about his "beautiful" and "charismatic" wife in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE
Jason Kelce couldn't be more proud of his wife Kylie.
"She's killing it," Jason, 37, boasts to PEOPLE amid the immediate success of Kylie's new podcast, Not Gonna Lie.
The former field hockey player's quick rise in the podcasting world (she de-throned Joe Rogan for the top spot on Spotify and Apple's podcast charts after just the premiere episode) wasn't a shock to her husband, he says.
"Doesn't surprise me one bit," Jason says, while speaking with PEOPLE about his partnership with Kingsford grilling. "She's been the smartest one in the family for a long time. People have been asking her point of view for a long time. And whenever she comes on our podcast, those episodes are usually the highest viewed. So I expected her to do well and hopefully that continues."

No stranger to hosting a wildly popular podcast, the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce host says he only had one piece of advice for Kylie before she launched her own show.
"The only advice I gave her was, 'Make sure you do what you want to do with the show.' It takes a lot of people, especially to do a podcast or anything that's recorded, you work with a lot of people that are experts in their fields," Jason explains.
"But I think if you're doing something and you're taking the time to do it, make sure you're doing it the way you want to do it and you're sticking true to what your vision is. And then you want to take into account other people's ideas and whatnot."
The new late-night host credits "a lot of really good people" at Wave Sports + Entertainment who help make New Heights and Not Gonna Lie come to life.
"But at the end of the day, make sure you're doing what you want to do," he adds. "Otherwise, it could tend to be not as fun."

And Kylie's doing exactly that, her husband says. When asked what it is about his wife he thinks people are drawn to, Jason says, "I think she's authentic to who she is."
"I think Kylie is a very authentic person. I think she's very real. And I think that that makes people connect with her. And I think that she's very smart, she's funny, she's charismatic, she's beautiful. So I think when you combine all those traits, people tend to like listening to her."
Kylie and Jason's fans appreciate their transparency — like when Kylie admitted Jason rarely watches their kids and that they don't censor themselves in front of the girls. The Monday Night Countdown analyst says there wasn't anything he asked Kylie not to mention on her show.
"We're a pretty open family. We don't really hold back a lot," Jason shares. "I think we've collectively chose to not show our kids as much, but I think that we're pretty much on the same page. I don't know that there's anything that she would say that I would deem off limits."
