Jason Kelce Casually Meeting His Lookalikes Has Fans 'Seeing Double'
The results of Jason Kelce's lookalike contest did not disappoint.
On Tuesday, the retired NFL star and ESPN personality was photographed strutting down the street with a group of lookalikes—who even dressed the same as the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
Images of the "blitz," which unlike other celebrity lookalike contests appears to have been formally organized with the help of Kelce as part of a branded giveaway, quickly went viral online as fans were "seeing double."
"This is amazing," another wrote before someone else joked, "Where's Waldo?"
"The commitment to the matching fits is amazing," one more applauded. "Even the jeans are all the same wash."
According to local ABC affiliate KOAT Action 7 News, the contest was part of a pre-Super Bowl campaign with Courtyard by Marriott on Burgundy Street between St. Louis and Toulouse streets in the famous French Quarter of New Orleans.
Teams of contestants competed to pick out the real Jason Kelce from the crowd, with the winners scoring a stay at the Courtyard Super Bowl Sleepover Suite inside Caesar's Superdome the night before the game as well as tickets to attend Super Bowl LIX.
Kelce, 37, later spoke with People about the event, telling the outlet that even he was impressed by the legitimacy of the lookalikes, noting that it felt "weird" to be surrounded by so many people who resembled one another.
"The lookalikes really looked alike, not that I'm a particularly hard person to look like," he told the publication. "It was a really unique experience to be down here in New Orleans for these super fans."
"If I wasn't Jason Kelce, I wouldn't know who the real one is either," he joked.
