"Today is extra special, bc it’s Maddie’s #MiracleAnniversary," the former Zoey 101 star wrote. In the post, the doting mom included a recent picture of her and Maddie on the set of Sweet Magnolias, a photo of her daughter in a hospital bed and other snaps.

Spears continued, "I’m posting some pics of Maddie on the set of Sweet Magnolias over the years, bc it was my first job after the accident and after having Ivey, it was a real turning point in my life to get be a part of the Sweet Mags family & community."

On Feb. 5, 2017, Maddie, then 8, flipped an ATV into a pond at her family's Kentwood, La., home and was submerged underwater for several minutes.

"Nobody can live if they’ve been underwater this long. You logically are thinking these things," Spears recalled in a November 2023 episode of the reality series I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here. "Then you hear the sirens coming. Thank God my mother-in-law, first thing she did was call 911. [Maddie] was caught in the safety netting. So when they got there, she was not alive. They took her from me and they intubated her."

The 33-year-old sister of Britney Spears concluded her Instagram update, writing, "We have nothing without the love and support of those around us, and I’m so grateful to be a part of a show that’s built on that simple fact. 1 more day until SEASON 4 is y’all’s🤍I’ll never let this day pass without saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU🤍."
