James Corden Shares Blunt Review After Trying Ozempic

From Oprah Winfrey to Sharon Osbourne and beyond, more and more celebrities have revealed they use weight loss drugs like Ozempic—but the medications don't always work the way people hope or expect.

In a recent episode of his podcast This Life of Mine, former late-night TV host James Corden opened up about his experience with Ozempic. Although he didn't get sick while taking it (like some other stars, including Amy Schumer and Stephen Fry), the drug apparently didn't have the intended effect.

“It won’t be surprising to you when you look at me now, that it didn’t really work," Corden told guest Richard Osman.

“All it does is make you feel not hungry. But I am very rarely eating [because of hunger],” he continued. “You are looking at someone who’s eaten a king size—and when I say king size Dairy Milk, one you give someone for Christmas—in a car wash.”

“None of that was like, ‘Oh, I’m so hungry,’” Corden said. “It is not that, it’s something else.”

In addition to quitting Ozempic, Corden said he's considering another major lifestyle change: giving up alcohol.

“I am finding myself at a period of my life where I'm feeling like it might be time,” he said. “Not that I think I'm overdoing it.”

"But I do feel in myself, it might be time to just stop now. I'm not sure I'm getting great benefits from this,” Corden continued. "I think it's time for me, personally."
