Jalen Hurts Celebrates Super Bowl Win at Disney World, Fans Say 'Thems the Rules'
Jalen Hurts has had a wild 24 hours—first he won the Super Bowl, and the next day he went to the happiest place on Earth.
The 26-year-old quarterback, fresh from winning Super Bowl LIX with the Philadelphia Eagles, was spotted celebrating his victory at Disney World, prompting fans on social media to declare that you’re “Never too old for Disney World🔥.”
Hurts, who led his team to a decisive 40-22 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, celebrated the big win first on the field at Ceasars Superdome on Feb. 9 before jetting off to Orlando, Fla. to celebrate with his fiancée, Bryonna "Bry" Burrows, and of course, Mickey Mouse.
The NFL player rode a float at the theme park accompanied by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy, who were all wearing athletic gear (though unfortunately for Eagles fans, not in the team’s classic green and white).

Fans on social media were enthusiastic about Hurts’ trip to Disney World, writing, “Enjoy, you’ve earned it!” and proclaiming, “Win the super bowl, go to Disney. Thems the rules.”
While it’s not actually a rule, going to a Disney theme park after a Super Bowl win is a tradition in the NFL. It started in 1987 when New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms declared that he was going to Disney World after winning the Super Bowl.
According to ESPN, this was part of an ad campaign to promote the theme park, and along with getting a hefty $50,000 fee for kicking off the tradition for the game’s most valuable player, Simms and his family were also treated to an all-day experience at the park.
