'The Bold and the Beautiful' star Jacqueline MacInnes is a mom to four sons

When Jacqueline MacInnes isn't busy on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful, she's keeping up with her four children: Rise, Lenix, Brando and Valor.

The soap opera star shares her four sons with her husband, Hollywood talent agent Elan Ruspoli. After the couple eloped in July 2018 while on vacation in Italy, they started their family the following year.

Jacqueline gave birth to their son Rise in March 2019, and within two years, Lenix arrived in February 2021. Not too long after, Brando was born in May 2022, and Valor completed the group in August 2023.

Speaking to First For Women in March 2024, the actress revealed that her role as a mom has been her favorite yet. “I’m a mama bear,” she said. “And I feel like I’ve never been more authentically me than I am now.”

Since embracing parenthood, Jacqueline has looked at her health in a different way, including prioritizing exercising. “Having kids, it changes your perspective,” she explained. “It’s quality of life, longevity and being able to run with my kids. I’m working so that when I’m 70, I can keep up with my grandchildren.”

While the Daytime Emmy Award-winner maintains the privacy of her sons, she shares glimpses of their family life on social media from time to time.

Rise Harlen Ruspoli, 5

The pair chose their son's unique name because it signifies “growth, the simplicity of moving forward,” Jacqueline told PEOPLE. She added, “We look to our son as an uplifting force toward positive change and a better world.”

Before Rise's birth, the actress announced her pregnancy to her cast and crew while filming a scene in The Bold and The Beautiful, in which she was walking down a catwalk in lingerie. As the cameras rolled, she yelled, “I just wanna let you all know: your girl is pregnant!”

Afterward, Jacqueline spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the different emotions she was feeling over her impending motherhood. “[I’m excited about] how much love I am going to give," she told the outlet. "I feel like I am a happy, positive person, and it’s the most beautiful, yet scary new chapter because of the amount of love that I am going to give this child.”

The Final Destination 5 star also shared her personal news in a since-deleted Instagram video. “The rumors are truuuuee!! It’s not just a burrito in my belly it’s a burrito AND A BABY!!!!” she captioned it. “Ya gurrrlls PREGNANT!! So excited for this new chapter and SO happy I get to share it with all of you!”

In an August 2019 interview with Soap Opera Digest, Jacqueline revealed that while she initially felt overwhelmed leaving the hospital with a newborn, she quickly grew into her own. “Once I had him, I was like, ‘Okay, we got this,’ ” the actress recalled. “I felt a lot more comfortable.”

That same month, Jacqueline talked to Soaps In Depth and opened up about her parenthood experience so far, including Rise's familiar look. “I feel as though I gave birth to my husband,” she said. “He has Elan’s eyes, which are very distinct, but he has my nose. And there’s a dimple on his chin, which we actually think he got from my mom.”

She also explained that he had already taught her to be more patient and forced her into a “digital detox” of sorts, adding, “I don’t like having the phone around him a lot.” The actress described him as a “chill” and “observant” baby, saying he “laughs and smiles a lot” and noting that he already seemed “independent.”

Today, Rise appears to lead his younger brothers wherever their adventures take them.

Lenix Ruspoli, 3

The actress announced the birth news on Instagram with a sweet photo of her holding Lenix's hand.

Before the special moment, The Bold and the Beautiful star revealed her second pregnancy in October 2020 with a now-deleted clip on social media. “Once you pop, the fun don’t stop! Round 2 Lego! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 #23weeks,” Jacqueline captioned it.

Later, in February 2021, she shared the baby's sex on Instagram. In a since-removed video, Jacqueline dressed up for the occasion in a pink, yellow and blue tracksuit with multiple blue and pink wigs, per Soaps In Depth.

She then danced to the song “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross, pulling off her wigs one by one. In a twist, she brought out a blue fan and got covered in blue smoke to indicate she was having a boy.

Since then, Jacqueline has shared photos of Lenix as he's grown alongside his older brother and younger siblings. From their front yard to the beach, Lenix can be spotted enjoying activities with his family.

Brando Elion Ruspoli, 2

She shared the happy news with a photo on Instagram of herself, the new baby and her sons Rise and Lenix lying in bed together. “And then there were 3,” the daytime TV star wrote.

Jacqueline exclusively confirmed her third pregnancy to PEOPLE in November 2021. “Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we are both only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true," she said.

Shortly after, the actress announced that she was expecting another child during an appearance on The Talk. "Boop!! And another one! 🤰🏻," Jacqueline captioned a video of the segment.

Like she did with Lenix, the South Beach star revealed the baby's sex on social media.

In an Instagram video, Jacqueline walked through a field while holding a bow and stopped at an archery target with a balloon in the front reading “girl or boy.” With her son Rise by her side, she burst the balloon, from which blue confetti falls.

Over the past two years, she has posted pictures of Brando with his siblings, though their faces are captured from afar. In honor of Father's Day 2023, Jacqueline shared photos of her husband Ruspoli surrounded by their three sons. "Moments like this," she wrote on top of one snap.

Valor James Ruspoli, 1

The actress shared the news on Instagram with a photo of her holding Valor in a bathtub.

“August 27th our baby boy Valor James Ruspoli was born," she wrote alongside it. "Our hearts are so full. Thank you for all the messages. Just been taking this time to slow down and doak in this moment. #gratefulheart."

A few months prior, Jacqueline subtly dropped the announcement that she was going to have a fourth child during an April 2023 appearance on The Talk. While celebrating The Bold and The Beautiful's 9,000 episode, she mentioned her recent birthday trip to Las Vegas and added that she “couldn’t party hard because I’m pregnant again.”

In an interview with Michael Fairman TV in June 2023, Jacqueline mentioned that she wasn't focused on the baby's sex. Instead, she was looking forward to making memories with her four children.

"We just want a big family,” the actress said. “I do hear, ‘You’re trying for that girl, right?’ I think four children is nice and even, and this will be the last one."

She also revealed that she was still filming her soap opera while pregnant, but it wasn't written into her character Steffy's storyline, so it meant the camera crew had to get creative.

“They’ve been doing certain shots and body shots,” she explained. “I know it’ll be that time where it turns, and I’ll really pop and they’ll be having full close-ups on me again to cover me up.”

More recently, Jacqueline wrapped up another summer with her kids, including Valor who appeared to enjoy the sun.
