Jack Vidgen is back like you’ve never seen him before.

A preview of the 22-year-old’s blind audition, which is set to air on Sunday night’s episode of The Voice, shows the judges’ stunned faces after he belts out a soulful performance.

Both Australian coaches - Guy Sebastian and Delta Goodrem - quickly recognise the former Australia’s Got Talent winner’s pipes before yelling a congratulatory ‘Jack!' at the end of the act.

Delta follows this excitement by exclaiming 'what a voice!' as Guy’s ear-to-ear grin displays his excitement at the ex-teen star’s comeback.

The trailer also includes Jack’s shock revelations about his return to the spotlight, which comes more than seven years after he found fame as a 14-year-old.

“I haven't been on a stage in over five years,” Jack admits before the performance, adding he’s “not little Jack Vidgen anymore.”

Earlier this week, the Sydneysider revealed how his life has unfolded in the years since his reality TV win.

Jack Vidgen has debuted a grown-up new look compared to his Australia's Got Talent days.

He said he splashed nearly all of his $250k winnings on attempts to crack the American market, before deciding to return to Australia.

“I don’t think people realise how much it costs to upkeep pursuing a music career, especially with the level I got to,” he told New Idea on Monday.

“I funded it myself going across to LA and that costs a lot of money. If you think about all the transfers, the cars, the flights, it all costs money.”

This very public comeback attempt is also gaining attention due to the star’s new look.

Jack attributes his transformation to puberty and lip fillers, and has continually quashed claims he has ever had plastic surgery.

“I've never had plastic surgery or any surgery,” he tells the The Daily Telegraph, adding, “It's pretty obvious I've had my lips done with fillers”.

“These types of things [fillers] are common now, especially for people my age - it's not a big deal”.
