Jack Quaid Gets His Hairy Leg Waxed for the First Time by Drew Barrymore — and His Reaction Had Viewers Hollering

The Drew Barrymore Show is apparently a safe space for hairy business.

From conversations around shaved legs to shocking 'stache transformations, the Drew Barrymore-hosted daytime series has produced some incredible hair moments, and she just added another one to the list with Jack Quaid.

The actor, 32, stopped by to promote his new film, Novocaine, and during his appearance, he became the subject of a very painful beauty treatment that had audience members laughing and hollering.

In the upcoming episode, which airs on Monday, March 17, viewers can expect to see Quaid getting his furry leg waxed (in real time) by the talk show host, and his reaction in the teaser clip is honestly priceless.

"I've never waxed this before. Let's do this," he says before pulling up his pant legs to show off his bushy calf, which garnered a shocked reaction from audience members. "OK, calm down," he joked.

"This is what I'm talking about," said a delighted Barrymore, 50. "This is some good hair here. I'm not a professional; that's probably not what you want to hear right now," she joked.

As Barrymore began applying the hot wax, he said, "So far this is relaxing," before adding, "You're all laughing like you know exactly how this is gonna go," as viewers laughed.

Applying the waxing papers onto Quaid's skin, Barrymore distracted him by asking about the sweet Valentine's Day gesture he did for his girlfriend, Claudia Doumit.

"I wasn't in town, so I wanted to surprise her with something. I didn't realize you can just hire a mariachi band to show up somewhere, and so they showed up to my apartment," he began before Barrymore ripped the paper off, leaving him yelling from pain and biting his hand.

Barrymore only gave him seconds to recover before ripping off the second strip. A large section of his lower leg was left bare after. "Look at this patch. That is smooth. Not to generalize, but women do this a lot. You guys are heroes. That was a lot."

Becoming celebrities' personal beauty assistants is somewhat of a shtick for the 50 First Dates actress who, in February 2023, also played the role of barber when she had actor Tyler Posey on as a guest.

During his appearance, the Teen Wolf star let Barrymore shave off the mustache he'd been growing out to lip length. The result was Posey coming out of the show a completely new man.

Barrymore also experienced her own transformation on set, back when she had her hair done up by celebrity pro Chris Appleton.
