Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi are in newlywed bliss heading into this year's holiday season!
A source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, have been "enjoying a magical year" as husband and wife and can't wait to mark their first holiday season as newlyweds.
"Millie is very happy with Jake. She loves celebrating Thanksgiving with Jake and his family," the insider says. "She raves about his mom's cooking. Their family gatherings are always very special and welcoming."
Despite her love for Thanksgiving, the source says Christmas is the Stranger Things star's "absolute favorite holiday."
"She always starts decorating early. She's embracing it all even more now as [a] married [woman]," adds the source.
The couple, who first sparked romance rumors in June 2021, secretly tied the knot in May 2024 during a "very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family." At the time, PEOPLE confirmed that Bongiovi's parents Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi were in attendance along with Brown's parents.
Soon after, the rocker proudly confirmed that the couple married in a clip of his appearance on BBC's The One Show shared on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday, May 28.
