I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have been left divided after the show brought in a Raygun-inspired challenge that had them dancing (dressed very similarly to the Olympian)... while receiving electric shocks through the dance floor. The two celebs doing the trial were Max Balegde and Reggie Sorensen, and it looked like a pretty painful experience.

Once they arrived at the challenge, the pair found out that the camp had been split in two, and Max would be competing for meals for the men and Reggie would be competing for the women. Max managed to win three stars, while Reggie, heartbreakingly, won none.

In the last round, they were asked to hold two cakes - each with four stars in it - while being shocked. As long as they didn't drop any, they had the chance to win eight stars. While Reggie managed to win big with eight stars, Max won seven, and because he won the most stars overall, the boys won a nice dinner while the girls were forced to eat their rice and beans.

Max was heartbroken to win the challenge because he didn't want to be the one to stop the girls from enjoying a better dinner. But at the end of the day, it's all about their charity and that's what keeps the celebrities going!

Hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris refrained from ever saying the word "Raygun", but it was clear to everyone what the challenge was referencing, with one viewer jokingly writing on Instagram, "Raygun will probably sue [for] this."

"Already better than Raygun," another joked.

"Not a good trial to do, being shocked isn't fun at all, it goes through your entire body," a third said, defending Max and Reggie.

"Agree, like they said it was hell," someone else said.

"I love how they pushed the legal envelope," another added.

"So much better than Raygun," one Facebook user wrote. "Too bad this wasn't on before the Olympics. She could've used some inspiration. I wonder if she is watching this?"

"What a horrible challenge it's just torture constantly electrocuting them," another said.

Many viewers were fuming at the decision to split the camp into teams, with one user writing, "I hate with a passion when they spilt them into teams."

"Well, turn off time for this show now," another agreed. "They did this split things last year and wrecked the show."

"I hate hate hate the separation of camp and the anxiety it causes!" a third agreed.

"Yep, I hate it so much, I have now stopped watching," someone else said.

"I think the group of people on this season are the perfect mix and what’s happening is out of the ordinary," another wrote. "I think producers should play this out as it is without dividing group. The relationships and honesty being built is really special and think audience would be massive watching group friendship develop."

"I hate when you split the camp it causes unnecessary drama not needed," yet another said.
