It's a new year and a new season on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
While we recover from our huge Christmas feasts and mopping up of the sweets and chocolates (surely it's not just me!) what better way to settle back into thing by watching a group of your favourite Celebs struggle with disgusting and challenging tasks - we'd rather them than us.

I'm A Celebrity fans love the show's shock twist: 'My favourite'
This year's group is a diverse lot from athletes and beauty queens to chefs and musicians but who will have what it takes to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle?
Take a look at who is taking on the challenge:
Poh Ling Yeow
Poh, 49, is a MasterChef Australia favourite who has cooked her way into Aussies' hearts. However, she's going to need more than her cooking skills in the jungle as she has been set a secret mission already. To convince her fellow celebs that one among them is who he says he is... Read more about that further down.
Explaining why she went on the show on her socials, Poh says: "I try to Iive by a ‘feel the fear and still do it’ mantra and it seems to work. Firstly, I watched last season religiously and honestly have not cacked myself so hard in the longest time. Who would have known that I’d find watching people gag munching on animal genitals THAT funny!
"But also being thrown into an extraordinary situation with a bunch of strangers from all walks of life is what we need more of. What’s to learn from life if you only engage with things familiar and comforting? It’s the sapling that’s weathered the storm which grows big and strong! Enjoy peeps!!! Strap in - it’s a wild ride!"
Beau Ryan
He's channel 10's all-rounder and now former NRL player Beau Ryan, 36, is trying his luck on I'm A Celebrity...
And while there have been rumours of a rift between him and Nathan Buckley over pay for the show, Beau has been quick to put that rumour to bed.
"First of all it is untrue. I got on really well with him and I speak to him probably every day since the jungle," Beau told The Daily Telegraph.
"Not one person in there spoke about money that I was aware of, even though Bucks probably did get paid the most. I'm used to criticism, but that one hurt. I am a lover not a fighter," he added.
Maria Thattil
She was crowned Miss Universe Australia last year and now she is out to prove she is more than just a pretty face.
"I’ve done some risky things in my 28 years and pulled them off…," she said on Instagram. "Two degrees? Done it. Quit my job to work for myself? Done it. Bringing Australia to the top at the Universe? Done it.
"But this? I thought the Universe was a big feat… but it has nothing on the so-called Aussie Jungle! Australia … I’m going in!"
Nathan Buckley
Spanning a 280 game-playing career, Nathan, 49, is one of AFL’s most decorated players. He then spent a decade as the respected coach of Collingwood. Now, with time on his hands, he's decided to spend some time in the 'jungle'.
"When the first feeler came through its fair to say I laughed at it and laughed hard, but, then I spoke to my boys (who were all over seeing their Dad eating rancid foods, covered in creepy crawlies and stinking of filthy offal) and thought that if there was ever a time in my life to search for experiences and to pivot and do something out of my comfort zone....this is it," Nathan wrote on Instagram. "So, with a little more arm twisting...I was in."
Brooke McClymont
Brooke, 40, is one-third of Australian country music trio, The McClymonts with her two sisters Samantha and Mollie. But after never watching the show, Brooke decided to take the plunge and enter the jungle anyway.
"SURPRISE 🥳, I'm heading into the Jungle," she told her fans via Instagram. "Arghhh the biggest secret I’ve ever had to keep!!!
"I’ve never watched or seen the show so wish me luck, I’m absolutely bloody petrified." But nothing prepared her for an article written about her time on the show.
"O.M.G 😂😂 well I never thought the first article I would read about myself this morning would be thanks to my farting 😆 too funny," she wrote.
Emily Seebohm
Olympian Emily Seebohm, 29, has won an incredible 56 medals on the world stage, making her one of Australia’s most celebrated swimmers but will this athlete have what it takes to survive in the Aussie jungle?
She's keeping tight-lipped about how it went so far, so we'll just have to tune in and find out!
Dylan Lewis
For many of us, Dylan Lewis helped us wake up with the iconic 90s Saturday morning music show Recovery.
Since then he's kept us musically entertained as a radio DJ and a muso. And while the kids may get to know him better now with his children's band The Haploids, he is going to entertain us in the jungle for the next couple of weeks.
But this isn't his first rodeo so to speak. The 48-year-old won Celebrity Big Brother back in 2002 so he'll be hoping those fans vote for him once again.
Derek Kickett
Legendary Indigenous AFL superstar Derek Kickett had a thirst for the ball in his playing days, which often made him oblivious to danger. This probably explains why he signed up for I'm A Celebrity...
"I'm in the jungle. Glad to be selected to show all the MOB," he wrote on Instagram.
Cal Wilson
Funny lady Cal Wilson ventured across the Tasman from New Zealand in 2003 and has gone on to be a favourite guest on Have You Been Paying Attention? and Hughesy, We Have a Problem, as well as the queen of the comedy circuit.
Now she venturing into the jungle! "The most terrifying, ludicrous, funniest, worst, best thing I’ve ever done," she said on her socials.
"There will be laughing, crying, profound experiences, incredible bonds, and things I will never ever ever ever eat again."
The David
A super influencer with 3.9 million followers, The David, as he is known by his fans, is a renowned shoe designer. He is the creative force behind the 8 Inch Daves, a pair of sky-high heels made famous by Miley Cyrus after she was spotted wearing them during her set in Glastonbury. Trust us (or don’t) when we say he is uber famous.
However in reality, David Subritzky is a plant, not a celebrity at all!! "FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT I SAY 💁🏻♀️…. I’ve scammed my way into the @imacelebrityau jungle!!!," Gold Coast based David wrote on Insta.
And it is up to Poh to convince the other celebs that David is who he says he is with the outrageous social media following to match. For every day they keep the lie going, they will win a reward for the entire camp.
Joey Essex
The much-lauded international reality TV Star certainly has a lot of reality TV experience. British TV personality Joey Essex started on The Only Way Is Essex back in 2011 and has made a career for himself in the medium ever since.
While he comes in late on the show, he does have an advantage over his campmates, he finished fourth in the British version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2013.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Tomorrow Night On 10 And 10 Play On Demand.
