Charlotte Crosby calls it quits with Ryan Gallagher

I’m a Celebrity star Charlotte Crosby has confirmed her once-blossoming romance with Aussie beau Ryan Gallagher has wilted.

The Geordie Shore star admitted that despite the pair’s sizzling chemistry, she wasn’t ready for a serious relationship and so cut off things with the former Married at First Sight groom.

The British star told 10 Daily the breakdown of her long-term relationship that preceded the show meant she couldn’t face the prospect of diving into an equally serious situation.

"When me and Ryan came out of the jungle I made no secret that I had been in a very long relationship and I wasn't ready to jump into another one,” she told the publication.

"I still wasn't looking for something serious, he's at a stage in his life where he is - so we came to a mutual decision that we'd just cool it off.”

Devastated fans can take comfort in the fact that the pair remain close, Charlotte saying the situation would be ‘fine’.

"We are still friends. I love that boy to bits, he’s amazing," she said. "Like, my time in there would not have been the same without him. We had an amazing connection and we’re all going to be meeting up, having a big reunion in Melbourne, so it’s all going to be fine.”

Charlotte and Ryan hit it off when the pair found themselves stranded in the jungle as part of the reality show, and developed feelings quickly.

Ever eager to stir the pot, Charlotte shocked viewers with a number of racy comments during their jungle courtship.

On one occasion she brazenly asked Ryan if he thought they would have sex, a question that left the very blokey Aussie a little flustered.

After the duo left the show, Charlotte appeared on The Project where she shared a lot of information with hosts Lisa Wilkinson and Rachel Corbett about the pair’s sex life, or lack thereof.

When the former Geordie Shore star was asked if she’d spent the night with Ryan, Charlotte claimed a “medical reason” meant there was no action between the sheets after they left the jungle.

“Obviously we spent last night together - nothing like you think! I've got some infections down there... you can't really go there at the moment,” Charlotte said.

“So at the weekend there's going to be some fireworks, I tell you now! Give us two more days with the cream!”

Lisa and Rachel were left visibly shocked by Charlotte’s confession, with the both of them breaking down into fits of giggles.
