IKEA is bringing its first ever clothing and accessory line to Australia on May 13, but you'll have to be quick to get your hands on any of your favourite pieces.
The EFTERTRÄDA collection, which first made its debut in Japan in 2020, will land in IKEA Australia stores and online this month but for a limited-time only.
It is the first-ever merchandise collection for the Swedish retailer, which continues to make waves on social media after it was also released in Singapore, Thailand and Korea.
Now, Australia is the next lucky country to receive the highly-exclusive collection, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, towels, tote bags and key rings adorned with the IKEA logo.
If you're already a fan of the popular BILLY bookcase - a staple of IKEA's furniture collection - there is one nifty little detail you'll probably love.
The barcode motif featured on the apparel gives a nod to BILLY, the store's best-selling product.
For years, high-end fashion brands have paid homage to IKEA and brought the brand’s design to the catwalk. Fake logo apparel is also frequently seen in streetwear across the world and continues to reach viral status across the internet.
"We’ve seen great excitement and demand for products like the KNORVA bucket hat, so we’re very excited to be able to offer a complete and full apparel and accessories line for Australians," IKEA Australia Business Leader, Maria Langford, said.
The range follows a crisp and clean all-white look and feel, with the brands iconic blue and yellow colours integrated throughout the products.
