The first season, which premiered with all eight episodes on Sept. 6, was the most-watched unscripted season premiere on Hulu this year. Nielsen reports that the series is in its Top 10 originals for the week of Sept. 2-8, ranking No. 7 among streaming originals.

ABC premiering The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on linear marks a rare occasion for a broadcast network to air a reality TV show other than a competition show.

Hulu recently renewed The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for a second season of 20 episodes, which will premiere in Spring 2025.
