Hugh Jackman showed some love for his former X-Men pal Ke Huy Quan on social media.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star, 55, posted a picture on Instagram with Quan, 52, after running into him at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios.

Jackman captioned the photo “25 years later … #deadpoolandwolverine #xmen,” referencing how long it has been since the two worked on 1999's X-Men together. While Jackman starred in his breakout role playing Wolverine in the film, Quan worked on the stunt team helping to choreograph fight sequences.

“One of the many cool things about the movie being released is so many moments are happening that are making me appreciate the 25 years I’ve been playing Wolverine,” Jackman said in a voiceover on the post.

The actor said Quan and his stunt team were “incredible” and that he learned a lot about action movies and doing stunts by starring in X-Men

“[Quan] won an Oscar recently and his story is incredible and his career is incredible. We saw each other and we embraced,” he added. “It was just really cool to see him again and to reconnect.”

Quan also posted a picture of him and Jackman on his Instagram, saying that he saw Deadpool & Wolverine and called it “AWESOME.”

“The last time I saw (Jackman) was 24 yrs ago on the set of X-men when he first trained as Wolverine. He is just as nice as I remembered. Huge congratulations to @thehughjackman @vancityreynolds and the entire Deadpool team on a record opening. Bravo. 👏👏👏," Quan captioned the post.

Last year, Quan won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his movie Everything Everywhere All at Once. He first made his debut as a child actor starring in the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom alongside Harrison Ford.

Despite acting in a few movies during his childhood, Kwan started working behind the scenes after finding it difficult to land acting jobs in his 20s.

"I owe everything to the love of my life, my wife Echo, who month after month, year after year, for twenty years, told me that one day my time will come,” Quan said in his Oscar acceptance speech. “Dreams are something you have to believe in. I almost gave up on mine — to all of you out there, please keep your dreams alive.”
